The online assessment includes quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, and often a coding round (for tech roles) or a case study round (for consulting roles). The difficulty is moderate, and time management is crucial. Some tests also include a versant communication round or a situational judgment test (SJT) to assess decision-making and English fluency, especially for client-facing roles.

The technical or case interview focuses on domain-specific knowledge. For technology roles, candidates can expect questions on data structures, programming languages, databases, and problem-solving using real-life scenarios. For consulting roles, the interview usually includes case study analysis, where the interviewer evaluates your logical thinking, problem breakdown, and business acumen. Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools may also be tested depending on the role.

In the final HR or behavioral round, Deloitte evaluates communication, cultural fit, teamwork, and your understanding of the company. Questions like “Tell me about yourself,” “Why Deloitte?”, “Describe a challenging situation,” and “How do you handle stress?” are common.
